When Andreas took over the Gugumuck Farm years ago, he gave up his job in IT. He started by raising escargots. In 2014, he founded the Vienna Escargot Manufactory, consciously choosing a path of Future Food that had a long tradition. Several generations of the Gugumuck family still live together today at the farm.

Andreas is a member of Austria’s Culinary Heritage,  Senator of the Business Senate and a welcome guest at various events such as the AMA Forum “The Future of Food”Swiss Kitchen Talk, Slow Fair Local, Innovation Talk at Show Agrilap, European Congress of Young Farmers, “Finding New Sources of Food“, Future of Meat, EG Zones Think Tank HAUSFELD, and he also gives lectures at universities.
